All the reservations are secure. All of the arrangements are made. All of the excitement is present. All of the notes on what to take (and not take....I am a pack-a-holic) are written. So, now I sit and wait....or work and wait....or watch American Idol and wait.....or not sleep like I have not been, or all the little details such as Winnie and Pooh (cat brother and sister) Wasik's care figured out.
Disney does this to me. The anticipation is one of my favorite and least favorite parts. The last week before is the best because you need to hit Wal-mart for their travel size everything and you pick out 98 outfits and have to narrow it down to 9.
What I am most excited about this time is my camera. My awesome, incredible, fantastic camera. I know three buttons really well and I am very comfortable holding it (it is a lot bigger than my point and shoot so there is an adjustment for the size difference) so now I just need to learn a few "tricks of the trade" before it gets packed and I am good to go. I think I might have to buy another memory card just because being a "nooby" at this camera...I tend to overtake to make sure I get something. That is with normal pic ideas here at home...can you imagine unleashing me and the equipment in Disney? Maybe I should buy two more. I am scaring myself.
I know it will be a very memorable trip. One fun thing is that I have been to Disney once without my daughter and she has been there once without me....so not only is it MY 50Th trip but it is hers as well..... how fun is that?
More later!
